Whooo doesn’t love pillows?

Don’t these owl pillows just make you smile? We have been on an owl pillow craze and can’t wait to share them with the world. This is just a sneak peak of what’s to come. Huge thank you to Photo By Elsa for sharing your amazing talent with us.  Please contact us at info@crazyforchic.com for custom requests or inquiries.

I had this idea to photograph Lucy on her ottoman for months. I was really happy that I was able to get the shot. My only regret is not waiting for the heater to warm up the house more before we started the shoot. My poor baby didn’t like being undressed for pictures.  I love the simplicity of the design and hope my daughter will appreciate the design when she is old enough to critique her mom’s work.  I love my baby and her birth announcement!Image

Lucy’s Nursery

Crazy for Chic wouldn’t have been possible without Lucy and the creation of her nursery. While I was pregnant, my mom & I couldn’t wait to visualize and decorate her room. We loved discussing ideas and finding new projects online to re-create.  As the room slowly came together, we realized how much we enjoyed working together. My mom loved making all the crafts and there was nothing I enjoyed more than designing my baby shower invitation and birth announcement. With wanting to stay home with the baby and having a passion for craft & design, Crazy for Chic seemed like the perfect fit for the both of us.

The nursery came out just as I had imagined- simple with a punch of color. The only “theme” I wanted was peaceful and serene.  The chevron rug and pompoms brightened the room and made it fun without looking busy and child-like.  I love that my mom put so much love into everything: the tree, ruffle bed skirt, painting the frames, the button artwork, and the purchase of the owl piggy bank and lovey. My favorite part of the room has to be was the wall of pictures. All of Lucy’s immediate family, grandparents/aunts/uncles, and cousins all on one wall.
